Jammu and Kashmir: Police nab 3 co-conspirators for creating fake Aadhar, ration card of Rohingya man
Police on Tuesday arrested three more persons for creating a fake Aadhar card and ration card for one Rohingya man in Poonch district of Jammu and Kashmir.
Senior Superintendent of Police, Poonch, Vinay Kumar, said three persons have been taken into custody for creating fake Aadhar and ration cards for one Rohingaya man, namely Mohd Numaan, a resident of Tang Bazar district, Bothi Dang, state Arkaan, Myanmar (Burma), who has been living in village Dhargloon since 2013 and got married to one local girl, Farzana Kouser of Dhargloon, in the year 2016.
The person with his father-in-law Nazir Ahmed hatched a criminal conspiracy for preparing a fake Aadhar card and getting his name entered as a family member in his Ration card by using the fake Aadhar card, which was prepared in conspiracy with two other persons, namely Waseem Akram, who is running an internet cafe in Dhargloon, and he asked Mohd Numaan (Rohingya) to manage an endorsement certificate from a village head in the given proforma, on which he prepared his Aadhar Card.
The SSP further said one Mohammad Sayaf, a resident of Dhargloon, as a part of this larger conspiracy endorsed as village headman on given performs, gives false verification of Rohingya man, and facilitates the preparation of his fake Aadhar card.
In this connection, a case was registered, and during the course of the investigation, a Rohingaya man was arrested and is presently in judicial custody.
During the further course of investigation, a house search of his father-in-law was conducted in the presence of the Executive Magistrate, and he, along with two others, namely Mohd Sayaf and Waseem Akram, both residents of Dhargloon, were arrested in the instant case, said the SSP.
He said some incriminating documents were also recovered from the house, and so far, four people have been arrested in this case.
