Mallikarjun Kharge forgot Nizam's brutality on his family: Yogi Adityanath responds to 'communal hatred' barbs
Mumbai/IBNS: The war of words between Yogi Adityanath and Mallikarjun Kharge, on allegations of spreading communal hatred vs appeasement politics, reached a peak on Tuesday with the Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister claiming that the Congress supremo forgot his family's sacrifice for the sake of votes.
Addressing a rally in Amravati, Ahdityanath said: "These days Mallikarjun Khargeji is very getting angry with me... Khargeji, don't get angry at me. I respect your age. If you want to get angry... show your anger to the Hyderabad Nizam. The Nizam's 'razakars' burnt your village, brutally killed Hindus, and burnt your respected mother, sister, and family members. Present this truth before the country - whenever they will be divided, they will be divided in the same brutal manner..."

He said Kharge is betraying the country for the sake of vote bank politics and not telling the citizens the whole truth.
The rebuke came in response to Kharge's indirect attack on the UP CM claiming that many politicians live in the disguise of sadhus and wear 'gerua' (saffron) clothes.
At the 'Samvidhan Bachao Sammelan', Kharge said: "Many leaders live in the guise of sadhus and have now become seasoned politicians. Some have even become chief ministers. They wear 'gerua' clothes and have no hair on their heads...I would say to the BJP, either wear white clothes or if you are a sanyasi or wear 'gerua' clothes and get out of politics."
"On the one hand, you wear 'gerua' clothes and on the other hand, you say 'batenge toh katengey'...They are spreading hatred among the people and trying to divide them," he said.

Kharge's jibes were in reference to comments by Yogi Adityanath in August.
Speaking in Agra, he cited the example of the then problem in Bangladesh and said, "You see Bangladesh... those mistakes should not be repeated here. 'Batenge to katenge, ek rahenge to nek rahenge'."
This time in a build up to the Maharashtra assembly election, Adityanath raked up Kharge's childhood tragedy and recalled how Hyderabad Nizam's Razakars burned down his village in 1948, killing his mother and sister.
Maharashtra will vote for a new assembly on November 20 and the counting will take place on November 23.
