Operation Sadbhav: India sends aid to Typhoon Yagi-affected Myanmar, Vietnam and Laos
New Delhi/IBNS: India has sent aid for people of Myanmar, Vietnam and Laos after the countries were affected by Typhoon Yagi.
Under Operation Sadbhav, India has dispatched 10 tonnes of aid including dry rations, clothing and medicines to the three countries.
External Affairs Minister S Jaishankar posted on X, "India launches #OperationSadbhav. Demonstrating our solidarity with the people affected by Typhoon Yagi, India is dispatching aid to Myanmar, Vietnam and Laos. 10 tons of aid including dry ration, clothing and medicines left for onboard @indiannavy INS Satpura today.
"@IAF_MCC is carrying 35 tons of aid comprising of water purification items, water containers, blankets, kitchen utensils, solar lanterns for . 10 tons of aid comprising genset, water purification items, hygiene supplies, mosquito nets, blankets and sleeping bags for."

The three countries have suffered severe damages due to the typhoon which is considered as the most powerful storm in Asia this year.
