PM Modi stands in front of 40-ft-long Veena at Lata Mangeshkar Chowk in Ayodhya
Ayodhya: Prime Minister Narendra Modi visited Lata Mangeshkar Chowk in Ayodhya where he inaugurated a renovated Ayodhya Dham railway station and newly-constructed Maharishi Valmiki International Airport ahead of the inauguration of the Ram Temple on January 22.
The prime minister stood in front of the 40-foot-long Veena placed at the Chowk named after the legendary singer.
His visit to Ayodhya came ahead of the consecration of the Ram temple on January 22, 2024.
During his visit, PM Modi also laid the foundation stone of multiple development projects worth more than Rs 15,700 crore in Uttar Pradesh.
These include projects amounting to nearly Rs 11,100 crore for the development of Ayodhya and its environs, alongside projects valued at around Rs 4,600 crore related to various undertakings throughout Uttar Pradesh.
During his trip to the temple town, Prime Minister Modi also paid a visit to the residence of a beneficiary of the Ujjwala scheme and shared a tea session at her home.
