Kolkata/IBNS: Tollywood actress Rituparna Sengupta, who was earlier trolled for her way of blowing conch shell demanding justice for RG Kar rape-murder victim, received 'Go Back' slogans at a night vigil on Wednesday.
When Rituparna reached Shyambazar, she was almost chased away by local people with 'Go Back' slogans forcing her to get back into her car and drive back.
She was also called a "thief" by some people who shouted slogans against her.
The senior Bengali actress, who looked visibly upset at the incident, hurriedly drove back from Shyambazar, which is not too far from RG Kar Medical College and Hospital.
An end number of Facebook posts have mocked senior Tollywood actress Rituparna Sengupta over her way of blowing a conch shell and demanding justice for the victim.
Though Sengupta has not been linked to the ruling regime, many found her way of expressing sorrow, crass and comical. She deleted the post, but not before it went viral offering fodder for countless memes.
