'Those who vowed to end corruption are now in jail for scams worth thousands of crores': PM Modi attacks INDIA bloc
New Delhi: In an apparent dig at Aam Admi Party chief Arvind Kejriwal, Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Saturday said those who had come to stop corruption, were now being jailed for “scams worth thousands of crores,” media reports said.
Addressing an election rally at Delhi’s Shastri Park, attacking the INDIA bloc parties, Modi said that the Lok Sabha elections this year would against the powers who are conspiring to take away the assets of the common people and about bolstering India’s position to one of the top 3 economies of the world.
"Modern Bharat's time has come. It is the best time when Bharat is ready to make a major leap towards development," he said.
He alleged that the INDIA bloc parties had made attempts block Centre's Ayushman Bharat scheme, adding that they have little care for the health of the poor just for their political gains.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi stated that the Centre was providing free treatment in government hospitals, but opposition parties were obstructing these benefits from reaching the people.
While addressing an election rally in Delhi's Shastri Park on Saturday, Modi assured that he would work tirelessly 24/7 until the year 2047.
He stressed the need for a strong government and expressed his gratitude for the opportunity to serve the country.
These elections are also about making India an economic power by 2047."It is also to save the economy of Bharat from those powers which, through their economic policies, want to hurt it," the PM said while addressing an election rally in Delhi's Shastri Park.
