Assam Rifles flagged off educational tour of internally displaced children of Manipur

Imphal: Assam Rifles has initiated an educational workshop tour to IISER-Kolkata aimed at empowering internally displaced children from various communities in Manipur.
The Air India Flight was ceremoniously flagged off by esteemed dignitaries from Tulihal Airport, Imphal on Sunday (June 30). Inspector General of Assam Rifles (East) , recently engaged and inspired 20 selected students at Bala Vidhya Mandir, Imphal on 26 June 2024, sharing his insights to ignite their young minds about the educational and social benefits of this tour.
Through this collaboration with IISER Kolkata, Assam Rifles not only aims to enhance educational outcomes but also to instill hope and aspiration among the youth affected by ethnic clashes in Manipur. It underscores their commitment to fostering sustainable pathways for peaceful community development through education and empowerment.
