Haami 2 completes 25 days: Shiboprosad Mukherjee, Nandita Roy, Gargee Roy Chowdhury speak on film's success
Kolkata/IBNS: Maintaining success of the Haami franchise, filmmaker duo Shiboprosad Mukherjee and Nandita Roy have steered its sequel, Haami 2, to yet another box office glory.

The filmmaker duo, lead actor Gargee Roy Chowdhury and three child actors Ritodeep Sengupta, Shreyan Saha and Aritrika Chowdhuri came down to West Bengal's film centre Nandan on Monday to celebrate Haami 2's completion of 25 days in the box office.

How did the makers, Gargee Roy Chowdhury react?
Shiboprosad Mukherjee: All films are unique in their own way. The Laltu-Mitali-led Haami franchise has been able to maintain its success. The audience's excitement about Haami even after the fourth week shows how people want this kind of film.
Nandita Roy: I feel very proud, mostly because of the three child actors who are stars of my film. As a director, I feel the audience's acceptance of the three child actors is a great thing for me. These three child actors have helped our planning succeed.
Gargee Roy Chowdhury: I am grateful to all people of West Bengal for making cinema halls housefull. Haami's success is giving a confidence that the audience will excitedly watch Bengali films if the content is of good quality and acting is strong.
About the film
Like in the previous installments, Shiboprosad Mukherjee and Gargee Roy Chowdhury played the lead in Haami 2, which is a sequel to 2018 release Haami.
In the film, the on-screen couple has two sons, played by child actors Ritodeep Sengupta and Shreyan Saha.
Tollywood superstar Prosenjit Chatterjee played the role of a reality show host.
The film, which features Anjan Dutt in a cameo, was released on Dec 23.
