Triptii, who first caught the limelight with her roles in Bulbbul and Qala, turned an overnight sensation and a "national crush" after featuring in Sandeep Reddy Vanga's Animal where she romanced with Ranbir Kapoor.

Reacting to the news, the actress said in a statement, "It is indeed a huge honour to be ranked No. 1 on the IMDb Most Popular Indian Stars of 2024 list. This recognition is a testament to the incredible support of my fans and the hard work of everyone I’ve had the privilege of collaborating with.

"From working on exciting projects to wrapping up 2024 with Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3, it has been a memorable year for me. I'm looking forward to what’s next as I continue to be part of this inspiring industry."

In 2024, Triptii continued to grab eyeballs with Bad Newz, Vicky Vidya Ka Woh Wala Video, Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3.

As per reports, she will star alongside Fahadh Faasil in Imtiaz Ali's next.

Deepika, who has just embraced her motherhood, grabbed the second spot in the list.

The 38-year-old had multiple releases including the massively successful film, Kalki 2898 AD this year.

Young actor Ishaan Khatter, who featured alongside Nicole Kidmal in Netflix series The Perfect Couple, grabbed the third spot.

Shah Rukh Khan, who had no release in 2024, followed Ishaan in the list securing the fourth spot.
