Previously, an esteemed figure in Indian chess had anticipated that Carlsen, who was utilizing the white pieces, could opt for a draw. Analysts pointed out that Carlsen's strategy was influenced by his struggle with food poisoning. This led him to extend the game to the third day to attain optimal physical condition and focus.
Wow, did not expect this opening! Is Magnus repeating his game 12 strategy of 2016 and aiming for a tiebreak?@FIDE_chess #FIDEWorldCup2023
