Rohit Sharma named Indian Test team skipper for two-match series against West Indies
Rohit Sharma was named the skipper of the Indian Test squad which will play two-match Test series against West Indies in the Caribbean Islands.
Ajinkya Rahane was named his deputy for the series.
The first Test will be played from July 12 to 16 at Windsor Park in Dominica.
The second match will be played from July 20 to 24 at Queen's Park Oval in Trinidad.
The three-match ODI series will commence from July 27.
Interestingly, Cheteshwar Pujara has been dropped from the Indian Test squad.
This is the first Test series India will play after the World Test Championship defeat against Australia.
