Apart from these, the Council has also a Bill related to the counting process for Village Committee (VC) elections.
While, Debbarma strongly castigated the state government for announcing 12 % DA and DR for state government employees and pensioners. He said that there is nothing to celebrate the announcement and claimed that the present state government has grossly deprived its employees and pensioners.
Instead of giving DA twice in a year, the BJP government in their last five years tenure had also released DA three times and deprived the employees from their legitimate rights of DA ten times in the last five years, said Debbarma.
He criticized the state government for its alleged betrayal policies and depriving government employees of getting 7th Central Pay Commission (CPC). He said that despite the double-engine governments and BJP’s Vision Document assurance, the government employees were not awarded with the financial benefits of 7th CPC.
Debbarma also alleged that the present state government grossly deprived the 35% population of ADC by allocating only 2% of the state's budget. He said that out of state budget amount of Rs. 26,800 crore, the ADC has given only 619 crore and among sanctioned 619 crore fund, the present Council of ADC have to spend Rs. 500 crore for salaries and pension for its employee and only Rs. 119 crore has to be utilized for developmental works. He said that the ADC administration never before saw such deprivation and people of the state will definitely raise their voice against such deprivation.
