Adultery suspicion, family dispute increasing: Skeptical husbands’ hacked wife, stabbed, horror kills father
In a tragic and brutal incident, one skeptical husband hacked to death his wife with a sharp weapon in the wee hours of Monday at RK Tilla area of Dhwajanagar of RK Pur police station of Gomati district.
In another brutal incident during the arbitration meeting, a husband stabbed his wife with a knife and sustained grievous injury. Witnessing the horror of the incident, the father-in-law died of a heart attack on the spot at Khowai district of Tripura on Monday.
After the incident, police rushed to the spot and arrested the accused husband, Ashish Dey (45) from the spot and recovered the weapon of crime.
Later, SP(Gomati) Namit Pathak also visited the scene of crime and speaking with media persons said that the accused husband was arrested and they started investigation to find the actual reason of the crime.
Sources said that accused Ashish Dey and his killed wife Namita Dey (36) have two sons and one daughter and both had married about 19 years ago.
Recently, Ashish had seen his wife moving in a motor bike with another man, since then they often engaged in fierce fighting over suspicions of extra-marital affairs. On Sunday midnight, when their children were in deep sleep, Ashish started fighting with his wife due to his skeptical nature and in the wee hours, he attacked his wife with a ‘Dao’ and hacked to death her at the spot.

This sensational incident took place on Monday afternoon in North Durganagar village under Khowai police station of Tripura. The police arrested the accused husband Anup Saha (32), an e-rickshaw driver by profession. On the other hand, housewife Jaya Das (20) was seriously injured in the stabbing and was sent to GB Hospital from Khowai District Hospital.
