Agartala city police arrested six youths with Heroin
The Agartala city police has arrested six drug peddlers and recovered Heroin under their possessions, where these arrested youths were busy with selling and purchasing drugs at ‘Chhatra Sangha’ area under West Agartala police on Tuesday midnight.
Giving details, OC of West Agartala police station, Paritosh Das said that after getting information of drug trade near Chhatra Sangha (club) area of Krishnagar, police rushed to the spot and managed to arrest six drug peddlers and recovered one pouch of Heroin under their possessions.
He said all arrested youths were produced before a local court under a specific case of the section 22B and 29 of Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances (NDPS) Act on Wednesday with police remand appeals for interrogation and to get details of their drug trade network.
