AICC announces Pradesh election committee for Tripura, Birajt Sinha included
In order to strengthen the Congress from grass root level before the general election-2024, the All India Congress Committee (AICC) has constituted a nine members ‘Pradesh Election Committee’ for Tripura and keeps the name of sideline leader and MLA Birajit Sinha.
The AICC has also constituted cluster-wise screening committees for the upcoming general elections-2024 and formed five clusters of states. Tripura has been named in the number-five cluster of states along with other Northeastern states. Senior AICC leader Rana K P Singh has been named as the chairman of Cluster-5 with Jaivardhan Singh and Ivan D'souza as members..
While, the nine members Pradesh Election Committee of Tripura will headed by Pradesh Congress president Ashish Kumar Saha and eight other members of the committee are MLAs Sudip Roy Barman, Birajit Sinha, Gopal Chandra Roy, former Chief Minister Samir Ranjan Barman, former MLA D C Hrangkhawl, Ashok Debbarma, Basana Debnath and Idris Mia.
AICC has also named the members of Central War room for the upcoming Lok Sabha elections and Sasikanth Senthil . S has been named as chairman of the war room, supported by Vice chairmans Gokul Butail, Naveen Sharma, Varun Santosh and Capt Arvind Kumar. Their primary focus is to streamline and coordinate the party's organizational efforts, ensuring a cohesive and efficient approach leading up to the elections.
Emphasizing effective communication, Vaibhav Walia assumed the role of Chairman of the Communication War Room. This strategic appointment reflects the party's commitment to employing robust communication strategies throughout the electoral campaign.
With these key appointments and strategic committees, the Congress Party aims to fortify its position and organizational structure, demonstrating a proactive approach in preparing for the challenges and opportunities in the upcoming General Elections of 2024.
