AR flag off Eastern Command “Purvottar Bharat Parikrama” car rally from Agartala
The headquarters Agartala sector of Assam Rifles under the aegis of Inspector General Assam Rifles (East) flag off the much lauded Army's Eastern Command “Purvottar Bharat Parikrama” car rally from Agartala on Sunday.
The DIG, Assam Rifles Brigadier Vikram Guleria, gave best wishes to the team for their onward journey and appreciated the efforts made by the team in bringing a positive change in the attitude of the youth of the North East by channelising their thought process towards nationalism and spirit of sacrifice for the country.
As part of the flag off ceremony, he interacted with all the team members of the car rally which included India's youngest Param Vir Chakra winner Hony Captain Yogendra Singh Yadav (Kargil War Hero).
