Assam Rifles empower Tripura youths through coaching for Agniveer
Assam Rifles, in a bid to support the aspirations of the youth in Tripura, is conducting coaching classes aimed at candidates from low-income households who aspire to join the Indian Army via the Agniveer entry scheme.
An Assam Rifles press statement said that scheduled at Radhanagar and Teliamura in the evenings, the classes cater to subjects crucial for Army entrance exams such as general knowledge, logical reasoning, general science and Maths. Currently 38 enthusiastic students are benefiting from these classes.
The programme also includes a physical training regimen tailored to prepare participants for the rigorous selection process of the Agniveer scheme. Running from 22 March to 21 April 2024, this initiative underscores Assam Rifles' commitment to empower local youth in Tripura, extending a supportive hand towards their aspirations.
