Assam Rifles organizes Drone display for tribal students in Agartala
In a significant outreach initiative aimed at promoting technological awareness and innovation, Assam Rifles on Saturday organized a Drone Display for tribal students of West Tripura district.
A total of 479 students and 24 teachers from 10 schools of West Tripura attended the event. The demonstration showcased a range of new generation drones, highlighting their application in modern warfare, reconnaissance and surveillance and logistics. The students witnessed live drone operations and were briefed on their technological aspects, operational relevance and growing importance in contemporary military engagements.
The display generated immense curiosity and excitement amongst the students who were particularly impressed by the fact that the drones were indigenously designed and fabricated by Assam Rifles in Tripura. This achievement served as a strong source of motivation inspiring young minds towards science, technology and innovations.
The initiative underscores the sustained efforts of Assam Rifles in fostering innovation, self-reliance and technological excellence, while nurturing scientific temperament in the youth.
Through such forward-looking engagements, Assam Rifles continues to play a pivotal role in inspiring the younger generation, promoting indigenous capability and preparing the nation for challenges of modern warfare.
