Assam Rifles seized 188 kgs Ganja from bordering Kalamchowra area
Assam Rifles seized 188 kgs Cannabis (Ganja) worth Rs 84.60 Lakh from bordering areas of Apurba Shil of Kalamchowra police station under Sepahijala district on Sunday.
Based on credible information, a joint operation was launched by Assam Rifles and Customs Department. The team seized 188 kgs of Cannabis worth approximately Rs 84.60 Lakh hidden at a warehouse and nearby forest in general areas of Apurba Shil under Kalamchowra police station of Sepahijala district, Tripura. Seized contents were handed over to Customs department for further investigation & legal proceedings.
