‘Bike Bahini’ should restrain from violence as medicine for them ready, Jitendra Chowdhury
The people of the state for the last 58 months have continuously tolerated unprecedented violence and atrocities sponsored by the ruling party, but now they will not tolerate it more, said CPI(M) state secretary Jitendra Chowdhury.
Addressing a large gathering of party workers at Harina area of Sabroom under South Tripura district, Chowdhury said that necessary medicine for the “Bike Bahini” (motorbike gang) has already been prepared in the laboratories and will be applied on time.
He said hardly after two months the BJP will be out of power and then they have to give reply over their misrule . Chowdhury also compares ruling BJP with Hitler and claims that BJP through its muscle power has established a regime of Hitler.
He said the BJP rule has snatched away the democratic rights of the people and ignored the constitutions. Whenever people protest against misrule of government, then Bike Bahini attacks the house, burns down properties. He also criticized the police for remaining silent and not taking any action. ‘They even do not register complains’, he alleged, describing a section of police as workers of the ruling party. He said time will come when everybody has to reply and satisfy the people.
On the previous day the Law Minister Ratan Lal Nath had a meeting in the same spot where he criticized the previous Left Front government. Referring to that Chowdhury said he is the law minister but taking no action when there is no law and order in the state. He said anarchy prevails across the state and time has come for a united and greater movement to restore the democracy in the state.
