BJP president accuses opposition parties for violence
After completion of peaceful voting on February 16, the post-poll violence has continuing across Tripura, despite many efforts by Election Commission of India (ECI).
While, BJP state president Rajiv Bhattacharjee said the same during a press conference which was organized at BJP Election office opposite Longtarai Hotel by BJP Tripura Pradesh on Sunday, said that the common people of the state casted their vote with a lot of enthusiasm while everyone involved with the election process did their work in a proper way. However this kind of Political Violence will not be tolerated by BJP.
He added that CPM in the last 25 years has used Political violence as a weapon and there are a large number of common people who have been injured as well. They have added Congress as their partner in crime now but there was a time when Congress was an oppositional party for CPM. There were various slogans which were given against each other but just for the sake of power they came into an alliance.
Rajiv Bhattacharjee said that he is absolutely confident that BJP will win with absolute majority and added that the party workers have worked hard in the last 6 month while BJP has made sure that a large number of developmental works are done by them hence they are confident of starting their second stint. He has also urged the BJP workers not to fall in the trap of CPM-Congress and must maintain peace in the state.
