Cameron national arrested from Agartala Railway station for suspicious movement
A Cameron national (is a Central African nation) on Friday arrested near Agartala Railway station after the man noticed moving in that area suspiciously.
Giving details, officer-in-charge (OC) of Amtali police station, Paritosh Das said that on Friday police personnel during their routine patrolling in all adjoining areas of Agartala Railway Station noticed the suspected movement of a foreigner.
Immediately, a police team rushed to the spot and detained one Cameron national, identified as Astin Inkafe , about 40 years, who was travelling to India without any valid documents.
During preliminary interrogation, police found many discrepancies over his movement and arrested him with different sections of BNS, Immigration and Foreigner Act, said OC.
He said that for further interrogation and to get details of his movement details, police on Friday produced him before a local court with five days police remand appeal for further investigation.
