CM acknowledges Nurse’s vital role in healthcare
Chief Minister Dr Manik Saha on Friday lauded the role of Nurses for their contribution and tireless work in the healthcare system in the state.
Addressing a blood donation camp at Atal Bihari Vajpayee Regional Cancer Centre in Agartala on Friday morning, the Chief Minister said, “Doctors alone cannot effectively carry out their duties in a hospital without the assistance of nurses. Nurses play a crucial role in various aspects of patient care, from operations to ward management. It is important to acknowledge and respect their contributions. Additionally, doctors and nurses should maintain a calm and compassionate approach when interacting with patients to promote their well-being and recovery”.
Lauding the role of nurses in healthcare, the Chief Minister said, “Nurses undergo extensive training and their work is inspired by the legacy of Florence Nightingale. The world recognizes and commemorates her contributions on her birth anniversary. It is commendable that a blood donation camp and a cleanliness drive were organized on this occasion”.
CM Dr Saha also said that the healthcare sector is a priority sector for the Tripura government and the government is actively addressing the challenges faced by nurses.
“The government is working diligently to solve the issues that people face and appreciates the support received from the public in forming the government. We are working and doing politics to solve people’s problems. To solve the problems, people have elected us and helped us in forming the government”, he added. The blood donation camp witnessed the participation of approximately 150 individuals.
