CM addressed Asia Pacific leader’s conclave on Malaria elimination at New Delhi
Chief Minister Dr Manik Saha addressed the Asia Pacific Leaders Conclave on Malaria Elimination at New Delhi Monday in presence of several delegates from G-20 countries. Union Health Minister Dr Mansukh Mandavia has also attended the programme along with health ministers from other states of the country.
Chief Minister Dr Manik Saha after addressing the conclave in a social media message said “In meeting, I committed for the intensified effort through which we can achieve Malaria elimination in line with the national timeline of Malaria Elimination by 2030 by achieving a target of zero indigenous malaria cases in Tripura”.
It may be recalled here that Chief Minister Dr Saha has left for Delhi on Sunday and will likely stay for a few days to attend several official meetings including meeting with Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Home Minister Amit Shah on various issues. He also will also meet several party leaders including the BJP’s national president JP Nadda.
Sources in the party are giving much importance to the visit as central leaders are now busy in finalizing their strategy for the forthcoming Lok Sabha election. It is learned that the Chief Minister will apprise the central leaders about the situation of the state and will seek guidance.
