CM appeals to gift two lotus to PM Modi as symbol of gratitude in LS Poll

Tripura Chief Minister Dr. Manik Saha on Friday appealed to the party workers to gift two lotuses to the Prime Minister Narendra Modi in the upcoming Lok Sabha election as he gave freedom to people of the state from the misrule of CPI(M).

Dr Saha has also slammed opposition CPI(M) for ruling the government creating problems for people, however on the other hand BJP is the party that solves the problems of the people and works continuously so that the common man does not face any problems.

Dr. Manik Saha while speaking at the ‘Saktikendra Bistarak Prasikhan’ under ‘Booth Sashaktikaran Abhyan’ organized by Pradesh BJP at Agartala Town Hall on Friday. He said that from the 2015 to 2018 elections, Bharatiya Janata Party achieved incredible success in the state because the functionaries at all levels worked wholeheartedly with the goal of 'My Booth Strong Booth' in mind.

The Chief Minister expressed concern about some party workers' lack of dedication and stated that training camps like the one held would help address this issue.

Chief Minister Dr Manik Saha said, “Our Prime Minister Narendra Modi keeps details of all the responsible officials of the party, it is a matter of our pride. Now if we want to strengthen the country, we have to strengthen our party. In addition to freeing Tripura from communism in 2018, the Prime Minister has contributed a lot to the party's victory in the 2023 elections. In recognition of this contribution, the Prime Minister should be given two seats from the state in the upcoming Lok Sabha elections. For this, the Chief Minister called upon all the party workers to be determined”.

“Now a new problem has arisen for the party to see whether anyone from two parties including Congress, CPI(M), should not join any committee because both these parties are involved in a conspiracy against the present government. Party functionaries should stay away from these miscreants”, CM said.

The Chief Minister cautioned party members to be cautious of the conspiracy by Congress and CPI(M) and not fall into their trap. Booths, Mandals, Shakti Kendra, and 7 district level Karyakartas of the party participated in the program of the day.

National secretary of the party Arvinda Menon, state BJP president Rajib Bhattacharya, MLA Kishore Barman, state general secretary of the party Papiya Dutta, and others were also present.
