CM thanks PM Modi for highlighting Tripura Sundari Temple globally

Tripura Sundari Temple development to attract tourists from India, abroad:

Chief Minister Prof. Dr Manik Saha on Monday extended a warm welcome to Prime Minister Narendra Modi on behalf of the people of the state.

He also sincerely thanked Prime Minister Narendra Modi for highlighting the Tripura Sundari Temple on the world map.

The much-awaited Tripura Sundari Temple Development Project was formally inaugurated by Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Monday.

At 3 pm, the Prime Minister inaugurated the Tripura Sundari Temple Development Project through a formal puja at the Tripura Sundari Temple, one of the 51 Shakti Peeths.  Chief Minister Dr Manik Saha and other guests were present at the event.

Dr Saha extended a warm welcome to the Prime Minister on behalf of the people of the state and also sincerely thanked him for highlighting the Tripura Sundari Temple on the world stage. The Chief Minister said that today is a milestone in the history of the state.

“As a result, many tourists from home and abroad will come to the Tripura Sundari Temple, one of the state’s prominent religious tourism centers,” he said.

Despite his busy schedule, the arrival of the Prime Minister reflected the sincerity, trust, and faith of the people of the state.  The Chief Minister also expressed gratitude to the Union Ministry of Tourism.

He said that the Central Government has allocated Rs. 34.43 crore for various development projects of the Tripura Sundari Temple under the PRASAD Scheme. In addition, Rs. 17.61 crore has been allocated by the State Government. The enthusiasm among the people of the state was noticeable around this inauguration.
