CM welcomes 1500 voters in BJP at 7-Ramanagar
Tripura Chief Minister Prof. Dr Manik Saha on Thursday appealed to people to ensure the victory of Prime Minister Narendra Modi and BJP candidates in Tripura to keep the flow of development in the coming days.
Dr Saha said this while addressing a public gathering at Golchakkar area of the 7-Ramnagar Assembly Constituency in support of the BJP nominated candidates for the upcoming Lok Sabha, Biplab Kumar Deb, and the 7-Ramnagar by-elections candidate, Dipak Majumder.
On this occasion, Dr Saha also welcomed 1500 voters from 370 families who joined the BJP inspired by the ideals of PM Modi.
“Development in the state or country is only possible when peace prevails. Law and order have significantly improved after the BJP came into power. Earlier, we have seen how a section of people worked to destroy the peace of the state. People don’t want this; they want to live peacefully. We are committed to establishing peace in the state. When respected Surajit Datta passed away suddenly, we were contemplating whom to entrust with the responsibility. After many discussions, we decided to field Mayor Dipak Majumder. Our relationship with Surajit Datta was very cordial, and he was an ideal person to us. I believe that the people of Ramnagar will vote in favor of Dipak Majumder and Lok Sabha candidate Biplab Kumar Deb. You are fortunate to cast your vote twice,” said Dr Saha.
Dr Saha reiterated that PM Modi’s goal is the overall development of people from all sections irrespective of religion and caste.
“PM Modi means guarantee. He has initiated the ‘Vikshit Bharat Sankalp Yatra’ so that people can benefit from all centrally sponsored schemes. Similarly, we have launched ‘Proti Ghore Sushasan’. Due to the Act East Policy, Tripura and other NE states have witnessed massive development. Due to peace, many people are investing in rubber, bamboo, tea, etc in Tripura. PM Modi always thinks about the people. We must ensure the victory of BJP candidates and PM Narendra Modi to maintain the flow of development and to strengthen PM Modi’s hands,” he added.
During the program, BJP candidate and Mayor Dipak Majumder, BJP President Rajib Bhattacharjee, Minority Morcha president Billal Mia, Jasim Uddin and others were present.
