Tripura Pradesh Congress on Thursday organized a meeting with tribal leaders from 20 ST reserved seats of the state to finalize their poll strategy.

Giving details Pradesh Congress Committee (PCC) president Birajit Sinha said that all tribal leaders of 20 ST reserved seats participated in the meeting and among them leaders will participate in the national conference of the ST leaders of the party at New Delhi on December 27 next.

He said that during the ST cell meeting the party leaders had detailed discussion over the poll preparedness and all out efforts of the party to get maximum seats from ST reserved constituencies of the state in the ensuing assembly elections.

During the proposed conference at Delhi, the senior leaders of AICC will discuss of state’s tribal leaders over possible candidates of the party in all 20 ST seats and as per the direction of AICC, PCC will finalize the candidate list, Sinha and added that the bases of the party in tribal helmets are getting in new heights in every passing days.

He hoped that Congress will get maximum seats from ST reserved seats in the next assembly elections.
