Tripura Chief Minister Prof. Dr Manik Saha on Friday said that the communists are now politically bankrupt and are trying to corrupt the BJP in various ways.
He said that in the future, the Bharatiya Janata Party will snatch 10 seats from the CPI (M). Along with this, the BJP will have to become organizationally stronger in the coming days.
Chief Minister Prof. Dr Manik Saha said this while attending the felicitation ceremony of the newly appointed state president of BJP, Abhishek Debroy, at Rabindra Bhavan in Agartala on Friday.
Speaking at the ceremony, Dr Saha said that discipline is very important. “If we want to move in the right direction in life, there must be discipline. The karyakartas will have to work according to the hopes and aspirations of the people. The party leaders and booth presidents will have to be strengthened further. The booths will have to be strengthened,” he said. Dr Saha said that the government's work should be communicated booth by booth.
“I urge the newly appointed president to work at this level. Only then will there be a Bharatiya Janata Party government not only in 2028 but also in the future. And there is no alternative to the Bharatiya Janata Party, nor will there ever be one. Everyone has seen the Congress and the CPI (M). The face of the communists has become clear today. They have become politically bankrupt. Many people are saying the opposite on social media or YouTube. They are trying to corrupt the Bharatiya Janata Party in various ways. But we must remember that this is not a Congress party or a Trinamool party; this is the Bharatiya Janata Party,” he said.
The Chief Minister said that since the CPI (M) has been wiped out all over India, efforts should be made to do the same here as well, and for this, a special drive should be launched.
“They cannot be kept in any condition. They are harmful to the country and to the state.
“Misleading people and telling lies is the religion of this party. That is why we have to snatch their 10 seats. They talk about various theories in the Assembly too. They used to talk about the golden age during their time. These drug mafias are their creation. These drug mafias are now in handcuffs,” he said. Dr Saha also said that in the coming days, the party will have to become more organizationally strong.
“The government will do the work of the government. Appropriate measures are also being taken regarding the cutting of news published in newspapers,” he said.
He said that Prime Minister Narendra Modi is also very happy with the reform work of Tripura.
“We are working in all aspects. Our state is progressing in various ways in the North Eastern region. That is why Tripura is at the second highest position among the North Eastern states in terms of GSDP and per capita income. NITI Aayog has declared Tripura a front-runner state. Tripura has been declared the third state in the country in terms of literacy after Goa and Mizoram. The number of MBBS seats has increased significantly in the state. The number of postgraduate seats has also increased. A Dental College has been established,” he added.
The function was attended by the newly appointed President of the Bharatiya Janata Party and MLA Abhishek Debroy, former President and MP Rajib Bhattacharya, Prabhari Dr. Rajdeep Roy, members of the Council of Ministers along with MLAs, people representatives, and other top leaders.
