Development get pace after BJP govt established in 2018, says Yogi Adityanath

The rules of law and violence free environment have been established in Tripura after formation of BJP government in 2018 with acceleration of developmental works, said Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath.

Addressing four election rallies in four different parts of the state including in Kumarghat, Kalyanpur, Mohanpur under 10-Majlishpur assembly seat and in Suryamaninagar seat  Adityanath said that  the political violence episode of Left Front regime has stopped after 2018 and people are living in the state with peace development.

He said that  the speed of development made by the "double-engine governments" in Tripura has reached at its peak  and people of the country witnessed welfare initiatives of double-engine government during Covid pandemic when the people were vaccinated free of cost along with free treatment and free food to 8 crore people of the country.

He said Tripura has been ruled by CPI(M) for 35 years, but there were no rules of law and crime against women was at its peak and there was no developmental works. But, after the formation of the BJP government , the rules of law established the state's pace of development.

Had the Congress or the CPI(M) been in power in the state, people would have been deprived of their basic rights.

He said BJP always wants development of all and honour the tradition and faith and party do not believe in violence and are against any kind of terrorism. Adityanath said to pay respect to the tradition, glory and development, the newly built Agartala airport was named after Maharaj Bir Bikram, the last king of Tripura.

Tripura has created a model of good governance and protection of people' under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi and the people of the state would have to carry forward the tradition for more development, claimed Adityanath.

He said during the past five years of the BJP regime, three lakh families have got dwellings under the Prime Minister Awas Yojana, 2.70 lakh people benefited from Ujjala Yojana, 2.5 lakh farmers have received Krishak Sanman Nidhi, and more than 80 % of people have got pure drinking water facilities at their doorstep.

He also said that Tripura achieved remarkable development for construction of new roads, new schools and new hospitals and boost up their higher education facilities for all with a number of scholarships.

He also said that there was a time in Uttar Pradesh when people were deprived of governance, but after the double-engine government was established, the citizens have started getting the fruits of development. He also appealed to the people to cast their votes in favour of BJP candidates and visit Ram Mandir in Ayodhya, which would be completed soon.
