DM-Unakoti transferred, Megha Jain to join as new DM

The General Administration of Tripura government on Friday transferred the incumbent District Magistrate (DM) of Unakoti district.

The GA(Personnel and Training ) department of the state government through a notification said that incumbent DM of Unakoti district Tamal Majumder (IAS) has been transferred and posted as Special Secretary of the state government and on his assumption, Majumder will hold the charges of Home(Fire and Emergency Services) department independently.

Majumder will also hold the positions of Director of Fire and Emergency Services, director of Urban Development and Special Secretary of Urban Development department.

While, Ms Megha Jain (IAS), the incumbent director of Urban Development department with additional charges of Director of Fire and Emergency Services has been transferred and posted as new District Magistrate (DM) of Unakoti district.
