Eight years old boy died after neck tied with cradle rope

In a heartrending incident, one eight years old died after his neck tied with a cradle while playing at Chittamara area under Belonia police station of South Tripura district on Monday.

Sources said that deceased boy Satyajit Rudrapaul, a student of class-two at Holy Spirit school in Belonia before the tragic incident had watched a mobile with one of his elder uncle and he was asked to take bath.

Before his shower, Satyajit went to a cradle made with plastic rope at their courtyard and accidentally tied it with the plastic ropes in absence of other family members. After a few minutes of the incident, when his mother and other family members were searching him as to why he was not coming to take a shower, they witnessed the tragic incident.

Immediately, Satyajit shifted to Belonia hospital, where the visiting doctor declared him dead.
