Governor Nallu visits SARS, praised agri-research activities of Tripura
Tripura Governor Indrasena Reddy Nallu on Monday visited the State Agriculture Research Station (SARS) at AD Nagar area of Agartala and reviewed the research activities of the state.
Soon after arrival at the research station Governor Nallu was welcomed by the joint director of SARS, Dr Uttam Saha, then Governor attended a interactive session with all the officers and others at the conference hall.
Later, Governor Nallu reviewed all the activities and researches of the state and visited seed museum, paddy cultivation fields and other crop fields. He also analyzes the process of organic farming in the station and produces of the state.
Governor expressed his satisfaction over the activities of the state and has also enquired about facilities of testing laboratory and mobile soil testing van.
Speaking with media persons, Nallu said that research activities are a vital part for a nation to get ultimate development and the agricultural authorities and scientists of Tripura are doing commendable work for self-reliance in crop production.
