Govt working relentlessly to provide all facilities to people living in remotest part, CM
The present state government is working round the clock to deliver all the government facilities to the people in last row and people living in remotest corner of the state, said Chief Minister Dr Manik Saha after inaugurating one day state level orientation Programme on “AMAR SARKAR” web portal, Roll out of Localization of Sustainable Development Goals and People’s Plan Campaign (PPC) 2022(Jana Parikalpana-2022 ) at Pragna Bhavan in Agartala on Wednesday.
The prime goal of the government is to deliver the facilities of the government's developmental works to the people living in the remote areas, said Chief Minister and added that the present government is relentlessly working for public welfare so that every citizen feels that this government is their own government. ‘Amar Sarkar’ web portal was launched on November 17 last keeping this in mind, said Chief Minister and added that the workshop is an orientation programme for better understanding.
The government is working to provide basic services to the public to 100% saturation besides implementing different welfare schemes keeping the mindset of ‘Sabki Yojana, Sabka Vikas’, said Dr Saha.
The government wants to make sure that there should not be any compromise on the way to development and in the national arena, Tripura is in a good position with respect to implementing various pro-people works, said the Chief Minister . He said that everyone must work together to keep Tripura’s name shining and ‘Amar Sarkar’ web portal has been launched to quickly resolve different kinds of public complaints. Further vigilance will be intensified through this portal so that the assets created in the state sustain for a longer period of time, said CM.
Speaking in the programme, Deputy Chief Minister Jishnu Dev Varma said that the ‘Amar Sarkar’ web portal has been launched with the goal to deliver all the facilities of government’s different welfare schemes till the last person of the society through technology. Public complaints will be quickly resolved using the technology and through this portal the next generations will be able to avail the government facilities, said Dev Varma and added that sustainable development goals will work as a part of beautifying and making the villages self-reliant and clean.
Welcome speech was delivered by Special Secretary of the Rural Development department (Panchayat) Dr. Sandip R. Rathore. Additional Director of RD department Prasun Dey had discussed the objective and blueprint of the web portal through a PowerPoint presentation.
During the workshop nine blocks were awarded for making best videos on 9 themes in connection with localization of development goals. The Chief Minister, the Deputy Chief Minister and the Special Secretary of the RD department (Panchayat) have handed over awards to the representatives of 9 blocks. Sabhadhipati of different Zilla Parishad, Chairman of Panchayat Samiti and BAC, BDO and officials of different concerned departments were also present during the programme.
