Husband kills wife in Teliamura

Body of a 47-year old woman, who was missing since Tuesday was recovered from Halodiya village under Teliamura police station on Wednesday, police said.
Jasmeen Debbarma went to collect latex from a rubber plantation with his husband Mintu Debbarma on Tuesday morning and she did not return.
A missing entry was registered with police on Tuesday. Based on the complaint, a police team visited some places but could not trace them out.
"On Wednesday , the police team visited a rubber plantation and dug out the body of the missing woman. Her husband since not return home yet", said SDPO, Teliamura Prasun Kanti Tripura over telephone.
"We suspect Mintu might have killed his wife over any family issue. Police came to know that tension was brewing in the family over their son's illicit relation with a lady", he said.
A murder case has been registered against the fleeing hubby and no arrest has been made so far.
