INDI alliance loses ground, resorts to false allegations: CM

Chief Minister Prof. Dr. Manik Saha said on Friday that the INDI alliance has lost its ground, leading them to resort to making false and misleading allegations.
Dr. Saha said this while traveling by train to participate in election programs in North District and Unakoti District.
He said that the opposition is raising various complaints during the election process due to their weakened position.
“They are resorting to misleading tactics, aiming to tarnish the Election Commission's reputation. It's best not to give undue importance to these matters. In the West Tripura Lok Sabha seat and Ramnagar by-election, people are queuing up to vote in an orderly manner. This positive atmosphere is evident on social media as well. Voters are leaving polling stations with smiles on their faces, exercising their democratic rights in a festive spirit,” he said.
Dr. Saha also expressed surprise at the opposition leadership's criticism of the festive mood surrounding the voting process.
“All allegations made by the opposition are baseless, and the Election Commission will address any legitimate complaints. The CPIM Congress leadership has been particularly vocal with their misleading accusations, but the people and the Election Commission remain unaffected by their theatrics,” he added.
He further announced his plans to continue campaigning for the East Tripura Lok Sabha seat until April 24.
