INDIA Bloc parties poll manifestos does not have any vision for poor, but documents to destroy country, Biplab Deb
The poll manifesto released by CPI (M) and Congress does not have assurance for development of common people of the country; rather these are the manifesto to destroy the country, said former Chief Minister and incumbent Rajya Sabha MP, Biplab Kumar Deb.
Addressing poll rallies at Bagbasa in North Tripura district, Babu Bazar in Kailashahar and a meeting of BJP workers and supporters at Kumarghat town hall on Saturday, Deb highlighting the developmental initiatives taken by the Prime Minister Narendra Modi said that the poor people of the state are now getting free ration, concrete houses under PMAY scheme due to people of the state has formed BJP government.
Asking his party workers how to convince general voters, Deb said that people have to understand that due to the Modi government, people are getting free ration and other benefits including social wages of Rs. 2000 per month , free houses etc.
“If the PM Modi voted to power for a third time, then all facilities are available by the common musses to be continued, but if people elected opposition parties, then suffering of common people would begin,” said Deb.
He added that the poll manifesto released by the CPI (M) is a document to destroy the country and they want to destroy the nuclear weapons of the country, which will make India , a weak country in the world.
Similarly, the poll manifesto released by Congress does not have any vision for the poor and now, all opposition parties make alliance (INDIA Bloc) without any common minimum agenda, said Deb.
Once former Prime Minister Atal Bihari Vajpayee formed the NDA government in alliance with other parties through common minimum programmes and the country had seen real development.
Castigating INDIA Bloc parties in Tripura, Deb said that after long years of deprivation, the people of the state have witnessed development after the BJP government in 2018 and now daily the socio-economic status of common people is improving.
After the formation of the BJP government, common people got rid of the atrocities of forceful subscriptions, said Deb and alleged that leaders of CPI(M) and Congress are only spreading negative narratives for personal benefit.
Without naming former minister and incumbent Congress MLA Sudip Roy Barman, Deb said due their personal agenda, the Communist had ruled the state for many years. He also expressed his doubt over voting of former Chief Minister Manik Sarkar and claimed that he does not vote for Congress candidate in West Tripura parliamentary constituency and he may cast his vote for NOTA. Deb also urged the people of East Tripura constituency to cast their vote in favour of BJP candidate Kriti Singh Debbarma to ensure the winning PM Modi for third time.
