Interaction with toppers of Madhyamik, HS: Hard work, education keys to success, CM
Hard work and education are the keys to success and different infrastructures of higher education are being set up so that meritorious students could obtain higher education in the state rather than outside the state, said Chief Minister Dr Manik Saha while interacting virtually at the secretariat on Tuesday with toppers of secondary and Higher Secondary examination conducted by Tripura Board of Secondary Education this year.
Congratulating the meritorious students, their guardians and their teachers, the Chief Minister said, talents of merit students must be utilized for development of the state.
While interacting with the students, the Chief Minister said, there is no alternative to hard work. This success is the combined result of parents and teachers, including that of the students. The Chief Minister hoped that a foundation has been created in terms of higher education with the fruitful result of the students. He said, today’s students are the nation’s future. Referring to the Prime Minister’s quote on education, the Chief Minister said, those who carry knowledge, their future path is smooth and carry the responsibility to take the nation ahead.
He said the mentality to do something for the nation and the society must be generated among students besides academic education. The Chief Minister emphasized upon learning about the life and principles of famous personalities besides becoming good human beings. These meritorious students will not only bring a good name to the state and the country but also play a commendable role in taking Tripura ahead in the coming days, hoped the Chief Minister.
The Chief Minister had interacted with toppers of Secondary and Higher Secondary Examination conducted by TBSE from different districts of the state and got acquainted with different matters including their success in the examination, future plans and way of studying. The students were delighted to interact with the Chief Minister. It is to be noted that a total 28 students have secured their position in top 10 in Secondary examination and a total of 17 students have secured their position in top 10 in Higher Secondary examination this year. Principal Secretary Puneet Agarwal, Secretary to the Chief Minister Dr. P. K. Chakraborty, Secretary of Education department Saradindu Chowdhury and Director of School Education department Chandni Chandran were present during the interaction session.
