He added that various meetings have taken place with the Cabinet ministers, MLAs and Karyakartas regarding this rally and he is hopeful that the Karyakartas are  very much enthusiastic  about the rally. He hoped that a total of 30,000-35000 party workers would remain present from Gomati and South Tripura districts at Santir Bazar rally and  would  make the rally a grand  success.

The visit aims to mobilize party workers and kick off the BJP’s campaign for the next year’s Lok Sabha elections.

The party insiders said the rally will focus on two main issues-the celebration of Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s nine years in office and to boost the party rank and file for the upcoming Lok Sabha elections.

The meeting resolved to make the rally a historic one, especially with the presence of indigenous people at a time when the BJP is facing challenge from the main opposition party Tipra-Motha in the hills.
