Tripura Chief Minister Prof. Dr Manik Saha on Thursday said that the way Tripura has overcome the misrule of the Communists, the people of Keralam should also overcome, and he said that the way Tripura BJP worked, here also BJP should promise to uproot this corruption and build a prosperous Keralam.

He also said that this is the golden time to, under the leadership of PM Modi, replace divisive politics with a politics of growth.

Dr Saha said this while addressing an election campaign for BJP candidate Prasanth Malavayal, who is contesting from the Kalpetta assembly constituency in Keralam.

“Tripura, which was once known as a state with unbreakable left rule, shares a message of hope, change, and victory. What you people have faced today, we have also faced. The time has come, we have already overcome; you should also overcome. You need not be afraid of those misrule party’s government. You know the BJP’s mission of 2026 is not just a campaign, it is a promise to deliver Viksit Keralam under the vision of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, and his visionary leadership will bring development, safety for all communities, and unwavering protection of our faith. For too long, the LDF and UDF have played a dangerous game of match-fixing, which everybody knows. They are taking turns to loot Keralam while its people suffer. Like we did in Tripura, BJP here also should promise to uproot this corruption and build a prosperous Keralam,” he said.

Dr Saha said, “Today I will take you through our proven blueprint: the story of Tripura’s transformation in 2018 and show how it will apply to Keralam’s urgent challenges. CPIM had ruled Tripura for 35 years; they claimed it was their eternal kingdom. Zero opposition, no BJP MLAs, no MPs, no councillors. But under PM Modi, we launched a people’s revolution, and I was given the task of in-charge of the membership drive, appointing Panna Pramukhs at every booth. Then we built the grassroots of the workers and dedicated karyakartas across the state.”

He said that in the 2018 elections, the nation witnessed as BJP won 36 seats and ally IPFT also performed well.

“We won 44 seats together out of 60. Even Congress was wiped out. Why? Because people saw in their lives, they chose development over dynasty, welfare over wastage. What we promised, we delivered: priority to tribal areas, new jobs, housing for lakhs of families, toilets, clean water, roads connecting remote hamlets. Now each and every sector is witnessing development. We ensure safety for women,” said Dr Saha.

The Chief Minister also informed that in Keralam, politicians neither pray nor believe and mismanaged temple treasures. BJP stands rock-solid in protecting India’s heritage.

“We ensure temples are managed by true devotees, those who light lamps with faith, not ballots with greed. Both LDF and UDF have transformed Keralam into a cycle of institutionalized corruption, where public office became a tool of personal gain. It is the golden and best time, under the leadership of PM Modi, to replace divisive politics with a politics of growth, accountability, and development. The NDA stands firmly committed to transparent government, clean administration, and inclusive growth. Every Malayali deserves opportunity without discrimination,” he added.
