LDC Excellence Award-2022: Tripura achieved award with coordination of all TSECL workers, Deputy CM
The Tripura State Electricity Corporation Limited (TSECL) is working to light up people’s lives and the state government has prioritized improvement of power services and infrastructure, said Deputy Chief Minister Jishnu Dev Varma.
Deputy Chief Minister Jishnu Dev Varma in a programme organized on the occasion of organizing State Load Dispatch Centre Excellence Award-2022 at the conference hall of the transmission office located at 79 Tilla on Tuesday said that the investment has also been increased in power services to improve the round the clock power services across the state.
It is to be noted that Tripura State Load Dispatch Centre was awarded with LDC Excellence Award- 2022 at the 22nd National Power System Conference organized at IIT Delhi on December 17. Chairman of GCILD and FOLD, K. P. S. Bhaba handed over the award to General Manager of TSECL (Transmission) Ranjan Debbarma. National Power System Conference and sub-group committee of Forum of Load Dispatcher has chosen Tripura State Load Dispatch Centre of TSECL to be the best in emerging category among 14 other states. A memento, certificates were handed over in awards.
Director, Finance (TSECL) S. S. Dogra and General Manager (Transmission) Ranjan Debbarma handed over the award to Deputy Chief Minister Jishnu Dev Varma and Secretary of Power department Brijesh Pandey in the programme. The Deputy CM said, plenty of works are being done in the power sector. Gandacherra-Ambassa 132 KV line will be started on December 23. The engineers, linemen and other workers of all levels of TSECL work round the clock. The state has achieved the award with the coordinated efforts of the engineers, linemen and workers of TSECL.
Chairman of Tripura Electricity Regulatory Commission D. Radhakrishna and Managing Director Debashish Sarkar also spoke on the occasion.
