Left-Congress alliance in Tripura only for existence, J P Nadda

The alliance between CPI(M) and Congress is a ‘last resort to survive’ and when these Left and Right forces or' Two in One' are struggling for their existence, whereas BJP is fighting to secure the future of Tripura’s youth, said BJP national president JP Nadda.

Nadda addressing two election rallies at Amarpur and Pabiacherra in two separate districts of Tripura on Friday said Tripura, earlier witnessed terrorism , political violence, road blockades before BJP came to power, but now the situation has changed after formation of ‘double-engine’ government.

Castigating the poll alliance in between Left Front and Congress, Nadda said that their alliance is only meant to save their existence and not for the development of the state.

He said that both union and state governments is working round the clock to develop the state as best state of the country, but these forces are against of real development of Tripura.

Tripura ahead by securing the future of youth, women, farmers and tribal people, said Nadda and added that under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi , the nation has jumped to third position in the world in terms of size of the economy.

The country has outclassed Japan in the Automobiles industry and holds third position in the world. ‘We are number one in the entire world with regards to production of ‘Life-Saving drugs’, said Nadda and added that during the last nine years the country has constructed more than 65,000 kilometers of road of which 4700 kms of road has been built in Tripura alone.

The Modi government make 100% free Covid vaccination , whereas countries like USA could achieve only 70 percent of population till date. The current Union budget has much for Viswakarmas or artisans, tribals and youth forces particularly for the ‘Start UPS’ which will generate new opportunities for jobs, said Nadda.

Nadda added that the northeastern state had witnessed militancy, political violence, road blockades etc., before the BJP came to power, but the situation changed due to the double engine government that ensured peace, through an agreement with the banned insurgent group National Liberation Front of Tripura ( NLFT) in 2019.

He further said that 37,000 Bru refugees, after two decades, have been provided resettlement by spending Rs600 crore.

“Law and order have been improved in the state for the past five years in Tripura. The Agartala-Akhaura railway project will help to hike trade and businesses of the state. The northeastern state is moving forward towards an all-round development due to the BJP government. People of the state have already decided to bring back the BJP to power in the February 16 assembly elections for more development of the state,” he said in his speech.
