Major administrative reshuffle: 17 senior officers with four DMs transferred

In a major administrative reshuffle, altogether 17 senior officers of Tripura administration including four District Magistrates (DMs) were transferred and posted in different administrative wings.

The General Administration (Personnel and Training) department of the state government through a notification said that incumbent Health Secretary Dr Debasish Basu has been relieved from the charge of secretary of Health and Family Welfare department  and he will hold the charges of General Administration (secretariat administration and political) department.

AK Bhattacharya, special secretary with independent charges of Revenue, Home (fire), general administration (secretariat administration and political), director of Disaster Management has been relieved from the independent charges of General Administration (secretariat administration and political).

Dr Rathod Sandeep Rewaji, incumbent secretary of Rural development, PWD(DWS) will now hold the charge of secretary of Health and Family Welfare department.

On repatriation from inter-cadre deputation Dr(Smt) Brahmneet Kaur is posted as additional secretary of Health department and she will also hold the charges of Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of TRLM and Mission Director of NULM in addition.

Dr Prasada Rao Vaddarapu (IFS), incumbent managing director of TRPC Limited has been relieved from additional charges of CEO of TRLM and Mission Directro of NULM.

Among the four district magistrates (DMs), who were transferred are DM of West Tripura district, Debapriya Burdhan has now been transferred as DM of North Tripura district, Nagesh Kumar B , present DM of North tripura district has been transferred as ne DM of Sepahijala district, Dr Vishal Kumar, incumbent DM of Sepahijala district has been transferred as new DM of West Tripura district and Tarit Kanti Chakma, DM of Unakoti district has been transferred as ne DM of Gomati district.

Rajib Datta, (TCS-SSG), additional DM of West district has been transferred as posted as additional DM of Unakoti district and he will also hold the charge of DM of the district in addition.

Subhas Chandra Saha(TCS-SSG), ADM of Khowai district is transferred and posted as ADM of West Tripura, Keshab Kar (TCS-SSG), ADM (PP)of Khowai district will also hold the charge of  ADM and Collector of the same district, Lalneithuama Darlong (TCS-SSG), ADM of North Tripura district has been transferred as ADM(PP) of Unakoti district.

Three more (TCS-SSG) officers including Ajit Sukladas, ADM has been transferred and posted as director of OBC Welfare and will also hold the charge of managing director of Tripura OBC Co-operative Development Corporation Limited. Biswajit Paul, ADM(PP) of Dhalai district will also hold the charge of ADM and Collector of the same district and incumbent Director of Food, Civil Supplies and Consumer Affairs department, Nirmal Adhikari has been relieved from the additional charges of Director of OBC Welfare and Managing director of Tripura OBC Co-operative Development Corporation Limited.
