Massive victory of LF-Cong waiting, BJP will consist into single digit: Jitendra Chaudhury

CPI(M) state secretary Jitendra Chaudhury expressing his confidence over the massive victory of Left Front and Congress on March 2nd assembly poll results, claimed that ruling BJP will consist of a single digit number.

Chaudhury along with few leaders of the party on Sunday visited Santirbazar and Julaibari assembly constituencies and held a series of meetings with party workers and leaders about their counting preparations and to spread the message of peace and mutual harmony after the poll results.

While, speaking with media persons , Chaudhury said that after five years of atrocities, violence and losses of many lives and valuable properties, the CPI(M) workers continues their struggle against oppression and violence politics of ruling BJP and participated largely in the 13th Tripura assembly elections to restore democracy and peace in the state.

He said that the Election Commission of India (ECI) and lakhs of people of the state have ensured their rights of franchise and voted largely.

After February 16 assembly polls, the verdict of the people are now kept in EVMs and the fruits of long struggle will be declared on March 2nd through counting of polled votes, said Chaudhury and added that it is certain that people of the state want to restore democracy and rules of law.

“People are waiting for freedom  and fervently tolerate five years long violence and atrocities sponsored by BJP, now time has come to take results of long struggle, which will be distributed equally to all people of the state,” said Chaudhury.

He appealed to all of his party workers and leaders to maintain peace and harmony after poll results and should avoid any kind of provocation by the ruling party. ‘Every party worker should contribute their best to maintain rules of law and their efforts for smooth running of peace and development in the coming days,’ said Chaudhury.

He also added that ruling BJP will consist in single digit as peace loving people of Tripura largely voted against anti-people policies of BJP and against their statewide violence.

He reiterated and appealed to the people to be alert till counting of votes and should avoid any kind rumours and propaganda framed by the ruling party.
