Mukhyamantri Samipeshu: CM order for necessary action for kidney transplant to a poor patient
Despite his busy schedule chief minister Dr Manik Saha has continued to interact with the public in the programme called ‘Mukhyamantri Samipeshu’. On Thursday also people came to meet him with their various issues. The chief minister had a patient hearing of all their issues and directed the concerned officials to take necessary action on them.
In today’s programme a resident of Ujan Abhoynagar namely Birendra Prasad Gupta whose son had been suffering from kidney disease came to meet the chief minister. Mr. Gupta was advised by doctors to go for kidney transplant of his son which is a very expensive treatment. Feeling the urgency of the matter the chief minister instantly ordered the officials to take necessary action in this regard. Arpita Ghosh, a resident of Matripalli area in Badharghat was also there and spoke to the chief minister regarding her brother’s spinal surgery. She informed them that for this operation they needed a huge amount. Listening to her problem, chief minister Dr. Saha extended his helping hand.
There was some Saksham Partharanjan Kar who was staying in Radhanagar area of Agartala on rent. He is living with his wife and only daughter. He requested the chief minister to arrange a house for him. Chief minister Dr. Saha directed the concerned officials to take action in this regard. This way the chief minister was trying to help the people of the state in today’s ‘Mukhyamantri Samipeshu’. The programme was also attended by secretary to the CM Dr. P.K. Chakraborty, health secretary Dr. Debasish Basu, secretary of tourism and transport department UK Chakma and director of higher education NC Sharma.
After this programme the students who returned from Manipur Central Agricultural University along with their guardians had a courtesy meet with the chief minister. Chief minister had a direct interaction with them and enquired about their experience. It is to be recalled here that the state government had brought back the students studying in Manipur due to an unwanted incident there. Today the students and their guardians expressed their gratitude towards the chief minister and the state government for this initiative.
