People have lost faith in Tipra Motha, they failed to work: CM
Tripura Chief Minister Prof. Dr Manik Saha on Wednesday said that the days of using politics with muscle power and communal provocation are about to end, as BJP is ready to form the administration in the Tripura Tribal Areas Autonomous District Council for the real development and progress of the Janajati people.
Dr Saha said this after flagging off a campaigning vehicle of BJP in front of the BJP Pradesh office on Wednesday.
Later, Dr Saha said that the TTTAADC election will be held on April 12. As part of this, a campaign vehicle will roam across the TTAADC, creating awareness about what the BJP-led government has done for the region.
“Today we have flagged off the vehicle. This vehicle will roam in TTAADC, and some Janajati people are not aware of the work done, so this vehicle will do this work,” said Dr Saha.
He said that BJP is receiving good responses, and many leaders from Tipra Motha are joining BJP, while more have expressed interest in joining.
“CPIM have ruled the TTAADC and Tipra Motha also, but nothing has been done so far. But after PM Modi came, he has been working for the proper development of Janajati people, and following this, we are working. People have understood that politics cannot be done by fooling people but you have to work. Our party is trying and will continue to do so in the coming days. People have understood that only BJP can ensure real development. We have seen how much corruption has taken place in TTAADC and will expose this before the public. Politics with muscle power and communal provocation is about to end. BJP is forming governments everywhere, and we are confident of forming the same in TTAADC,” he said.
Dr Saha said that BJP’s campaigning is ongoing everywhere, with karyakartas working tirelessly.
“In the coming days, I will also go. Yesterday, our party president also went for campaigning. Making loud noise does not make a campaign effective, so we are conducting our campaign properly. The Janajati people have faith in PM Modi, and that is why they want BJP to establish administration in TTAADC,” he said. He also said that violence is a sign of frustration.
“Earlier, we have seen that out of frustration, they carry out attacks. They thought we would remain silent when they launched attacks, but this is not going to happen. I have taken information after a minister’s vehicle was attacked, and the police will take its own course of action. People want peace, and for peace, we want to win the TTAADC election, and BJP will form the government there. They are trying to create confusion among people with misleading statements, but we are not taking a single portion of land from TTAADC. Whatever we are doing is following all rules and regulations. Only we can develop TTAADC,” he added. BJP state president Rajib Bhattacharya, Minister Tinku Roy, and others were present.
