NLU, Tripura inks MoU with Tripura Institute of Paramedical Sciences, Agartala

The National Law University, Tripura (NLUT) signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the Tripura Institute of Paramedical Sciences (TIPS), Agartala, marking a significant step towards fostering interdisciplinary collaboration between law and medical sciences.
The MoU aims to promote academic interaction, curriculum reform, joint student projects on medico-legal issues, faculty and student exchange programmes, as well as collaborative research initiatives. This partnership is designed to build bridges between legal education and healthcare studies, enabling a deeper understanding of medico-legal challenges and their societal impact.
Speaking on the occasion, the Vice-Chancellor of NLUT Prof. Yogesh Pratap Singh emphasized that this collaboration will provide students of both institutions with an opportunity to engage in cutting-edge research, experiential learning, and knowledge-sharing, equipping them to address emerging challenges in healthcare law, bioethics, and medical jurisprudence. The Principal of TIPS expressed optimism that the MoU would enrich paramedical education by incorporating legal awareness, thereby strengthening the professional capacities of healthcare providers.
