Old lady arrested with Heroin from NCC area of Agartala
An old lady, who was running a grocery shop at Goyala Basti area of Agartala has been arrested for running a drug network and police have also recovered large quantities of Heroin under her possession.
Giving details, SP (West Tripura) Kiran Kumar said that based on secret information, the police personnel from New Capital Complex (NCC) police station has arrested one woman identified as Kala Devi (61) from Goyala Basti area of Kajurbagan and during raids at her shop, police has recovered 35.65 grams of Heroin contained in three packets and 18,000 empty vials.
Police have arrested Kala Devi in a specific case under the Narcotics Drugs and Psychotropic Substances (NDPS) Act, 1985 and started investigation to arrest other drug smugglers involved with selling Heroin.
