PM Modi praises Tripura CM for implementing HIRA plus model for state's development
Prime Minister Narendra Modi lauded the role of Tripura Chief Minister Prof. Dr Manik Saha for spearheading the development of Tripura through the HIRA+ model.
During his visit to Agartala, PM Modi addressed a massive election campaign at the Swami Vivekananda Maidan in Agartala on Wednesday in support of BJP candidates for the Lok Sabha, Biplab Kumar Deb and Kriti Singh Debbarma.
"Our government has implemented the HIRA Model for Tripura's development, as highlighted by Chief Minister Prof. Dr Manik Saha. Today, not just here but across the country, people are talking about the HIRA Model. HIRA stands for Highway, Internetway, Railway, and Airway, which I promised and fulfilled. Currently, the construction of a 4-lane highway is underway in Tripura," said PM Modi.
PM Modi also mentioned, "Our government has constructed a new modern terminal at MBB airport and under the leadership of Chief Minister Dr Manik Saha led Tripura government is taking further steps for the development of Tripura through the HIRA+ model."
He further highlighted the connectivity initiatives, stating, "We have inaugurated the Maitri Setu to connect Tripura with Bangladesh, and now Tripura has access to 5G services."
