Pradyot meets CM, held discussion on pending issues
Tipra-Motha supremo Pradyot Kishore Debbarma on Sunday evening met Chief Minister Dr Manik Saha and had discussion on various issues related to pending bills of ADC and release of financial grant etc.
After meeting with the Chief Minister, Pradyot Kishore accompanied by a few MLAs and MDC of Tipra-Motha speaking with media persons said that they had discussion on many issues related to Autonomous District Council (ADC).
Pradyot said that the present regime of ADC has passed many Bills including customary laws, Expansion bill and land revenue bill etc, but these are pending at Governor Office since last eight months.
“There are no discussions and no decisions over the pending bills by the Governor as well as the state government,”, said Pradyot and added that the ADC administration has also introduced a health scheme, but unfortunately the state government is not releasing funds.
He said that they had also discussed with the Chief Minister the demand for a constitutional solution of ‘Greater Tipraland.’
He added that the Chief Minister assured them that he will inquire into these matters and will discuss with concerned state government officials for an early solution.
Pradyot also said that interlocutor AK Mishra is not coming to the state on May 8th due to violence in Manipur as Mishra is presently camping in and added that will visit New Delhi on May 10th to meet the Union Home Minister Amit Shah.
The interlocutor A K Mishra will arrive in the state after normalcy return in Manipur and he will meet all stakeholders including Chief Minister, political parties and with the leader of Tipra-Motha.
